Background
Dee Wood started riding motorcycles in 1972. Her brother, who is one
year older than her, inspired her to get involved in motorcycling. She
always tried to do what he did, only better. Because the sport was fun for
her, she was inspired to race. Racing just came natural to Dee.

What is she doing now?
Dee
along with her brother D.L. and father Lee own and operate the Harley-Davidson
of North Texas dealership. Harley-Davidson of North Texas is one of the
largest volume dealers in the southwest and carries with it a reputation for
having a huge inventory on hand.
With 17 years experience within the industry and on the motocross circuit, Dee is definitely one of the legends of the sport. Dee's racing venues have taken her overseas to represent the United States as a member of the first US Women's Motocross Team where she competed against the fastest women racers from around world. She is also a role model for many of the up and coming riders as she continues to stay involved in racing.
