Dominica "Miki" Keller took over the Women’s Motocross League in January of 2000 as President lending her marketing and event management skills to women’s motocross.

Prior to the WML, she co-founded Wide Open MX Magazine, the first freestyle motocross magazine and was Executive Tour Director for LXD, Inc for the 1998 MCD FreeRide MX Championships (one of the earliest freestyle motocross events).  Before doing FMX work, Miki was a creative and marketing leader in the Action Sports Industry.  From 1990 to 1996, she was the Vice President of Marketing for Morrow Snowboards, a top-selling snowboard brand.  While in that position, she created the annual Morrow Motocross at the Albany SX, a groundbreaking event that combined live music (by “Strung Out” and other bands), pro skateboarding, an air and style jump contest (participants included Mike Metzger and Carey Hart) and motocross racing for professional snowboarders and Northwest motocross racers.

In addition to the WML, Miki runs her own Marketing, Promotions and Event business called 77 Productions and currently does advertising and event consulting for the snow and skate retail chain Zumiez, Inc., as well as the initial PR for Heidi Henry, the first female freestyle motocrosser.  In the past few years she has done contract work for the X-Games (FMX), the United States Amateur Snowboard Association, and Vans/High Cascade Snowboard Camp.  In addition, she has written short articles for Racer X, Extremesport.com, MX Racer, MX Rage and Cycle News.

Her major accomplishments while at the helm of the WML are:

bulletThe inclusion of Women’s Pro Motocross highlights in the AMA Pro Racing Television program on espn 2.
bulletInclusion in the program distributed at the Nationals.
bulletElevating the Women’s Pro program to include over 50% of the races during the AMA Pro Racing events on Sunday (15,000 – 20,000 fans per event).
bulletDeveloped partnership with Girls Learn to Ride™ and Honda Rider Education Centers, creating the first WML/Girls Learn to Ride Motocross program to introduce females to the sport.
bulletCreated and distributed press kit for mainstream women’s interest media.
bulletSecured press coverage for women’s motocross in motocross magazines.
bulletIncreased Pro Purse Pay out.

Miki hits the freestyle ramp (day one) at her place in Oregon.
