Background Tina's first race was at the Erie County Field House MX park as she finished 3rd in the mini class. In 1981, she appeared on the Wide World of Sports show as the they filmed the Women's National Motocross event where she finished 4th in her class. In 1982, she was ranked 3rd in the nation competing in women's motocross. In 1978, Tina was awarded with the District 5 "Rider of the Year" award, while 1979 saw her receive the "Mud Rider of the Year" award. The 1981 racing season saw the Women's Nationals at the famous Carlsbad National MX facility in Carlsbad, California where she placed 4th overall in the women's expert class. Stepping up a notch, Tina returned to Carlsbad the next year, placing 3rd against some of the fastest ladies around. Specialties
What is she doing now? You can find Tina pulling out her mx videos and watching them, reminiscing over the good old days. She has indicated that her heart starts racing, her palms get sweaty and she can still smell the fuel mixture in the air. She just can't quit remembering all the fun she had while she was racing.
