2003 Etnies Gmoto-X British Girls and Women’s MX Championship Series Rounds 1 and 2 Cancelled by Committee Attention All Riders: I hope you are well. I am sorry to say we have had some bad news, Etnies Gmoto-x Round 1 and 2: CANCELLED. The first two rounds of the Etnies Gmoto-x championship scheduled for 2nd and 3rd August have been cancelled by Doncaster Moto Parc Committee (copy of email below). After days of frantic phone calls and no alternative tracks coming forward, we’re sorry to let you know. The good news is: Etnies Gmoto-x will be held over two rounds at Matchams, near Ringwood in Hants, on 13th and 14th September. The great news is you will be able to enjoy our fantastic BBQ. So, sit back and have a great meal after the racing has finished. Ringwood Racing invites you to watch and even take part in Arena-Cross races on the Saturday evening. racing and some great See you at Marchams… Alison Wylde Copy of the email from Doncaster Moto Parc below: ***** Hi Allison, I'm sorry to inform you but after a committee meeting a dission has been made to pull out of running the gmx event. The worry is that along with getting medical cover the financial risk of running the race is to high. With medical cover and rider insurance increases the event will cost roughly £5,500 to £6,000 and after speaking to you recently it concerns me that these costs may not get covered and with Doncaster Motorcycle Club making a lose at the BYMX round the club cannot allow to take any risks.
