American rider, Jessica Patterson, competed in
the International Swedish MX Girls Trophy 2003

The U.S. Team Green Kawasaki rider, Jessica Patterson, raced four of the six events of this new Swedish championship for women.  She was in the line-up for the first race in Kristianstad (South part of Sweden) on April 19th & 20th of 2003.  There, she raced against Internationally known riders like Johanna Mattsson, Elin Mann and Jessica Gebhardt and so on.  Jessica Patterson's participation in Sweden was unique and the Swedish fans and media were excited.

Two of the big media partners for this championship were the television company, Viasat Sport and the European radio station, NRJ.  Viasat Sports covered a total of twenty-four programs on the screen in Sweden for this event totaling 11 hours of broadcasting.  NRJ promoted the championship with 700 hits all over Sweden.

RaceXzone  used WML Swedish Pro racer, Johanna Mattsson, as a spokesperson for the sport.  Johanna together with the Swedish Grand Prix racer, Johnny Lindhe, were chosen to be profiled on the RaceXzone web site for the 2003 season.  Their intention was to promote Johanna and Johnny to the Swedish fans and media.  "Motocross is now going stronger and stronger in Sweden" says K-J Engdahl, RaceXzone's Marketing Director.  "RaceXzone will work hard to make this series successful for the girls" he adds.
