Where to Race

So many times women ask "Where can I go to race against women?"

The fact of the matter is that there are race tracks and race track promoters all over the world promoting motocross events.  They offer all kinds of classes for riders of all skill levels and ages.  But, most of the time, a women's class is not offered.

So, do you want to know how to make it happen?

To follow are some helpful tips to get the results we all want, a class or classes offered for the female gender.....

Rally Together
Where ever you live and race motocross, you know who the girl and women riders are.  The best way to get the promoters attention is to have enough riders required to make a new class.

bulletTalk to the other girl and women racers at the track and ask them if they would like to race with you.
bulletCall all your girl friends who ride and race and ask them too.
bulletAsk your guy moto buddies if their girl friend or wife would like to join you.

Just Ask
Although motocross has been around for some time now, many promoters do not list a women's class on their entry forms or in their programs.  Everyone has the right to ride and race.  Ask your local promoter how many riders make a class.  Let them know you have the necessary number of riders to make a new class and then ask them if they would include a women's class.

bulletAsk how many riders make a class.
bulletLet them know there is enough women riders to make a class.
bulletAsk them if they would add a women's class to their program.

It's all up to YOU - so go on and do it.........
As there are well-known and established groups promoting women's motocross around the world, the events provided are typically during selected venues or only during part of the racing season.  Some of which are usually only once a year events.  It is up to every woman racer out there to stand up for their rights, rally together and ask promoters to include a women's class at their local tracks if they want to compete consistently against other women throughout the year.
